Love And Commitment = A Happy Marriage

December 24th, 2007 by geoffrajczi

By Sharon Hale Being married is one of the strongest bonds a couple can enter into. It commits each person to staying with the other person even when the going gets rough. A married couple has a better chance of getting through tough times because they are legally committed to each other. Being in a loving relationship is often all you need, or is it? Is marriage and being together what love is all about? You see bumper stickers saying, Happiness Is Being Single. Could that really be true? Being single and in a relationship means that either one can bail out at the first signs of problems. You dont have to solve a problem and move forward into a stronger relationship. You can just move on to another and then another association with another lover. Maybe some consider that happiness. Of all the things that couples can do to make sure they stay together, commitment is one of the strongest binding factors. What could be more binding than the legal contract we call, marriage? It is easy to dissolve a marriage, but it is a lot easier to quit a relationship that has no legal strings attached to it. Marriage is the means by which a couple in love can announce to the world that they believe in each other above all others. Once married a couple has a reason to try harder to keep things going and to stay together for the long haul. The first rough waters may rock the boat, but a committed couple can weather any storm in their relationship. With marriage comes a lot of responsibility. Learning to live with another person is one thing. Being married to them means a stronger commitment and better chance of a long and happy marriage. The commitment is what strengthens and matures a couple. Being married doesnt guarantee a long lasting partnership with the one you love. It does give you better odds of staying together for a long time. As time goes by we settle into routines. Some are conducive to a loving relationship and others are detrimental. Marriage gives you time to find the systems and that make our life with our partner more than just living together, but having a life together. You often hear of people celebrating their 50th or 60th wedding anniversary. I have yet to hear of anyone celebrating their 50th living together anniversary. Maybe it happens, but think of what is the longest relationship you know of between two people living together who are not married. Do you know anyone who has lived together 15 years and have a strong togetherness? It is fun being married. It is an adventure that takes you down lifes path with someone who understands you like no one else could. Time and again this closeness will get you through the good times, the bad times, the sad times and all the rest of the times that build your marriage and relationship. Sharon Hale

Wedding Loans - When Wedding Bills Are Postponing the Wedding Bells

December 20th, 2007 by geoffrajczi

By Amanda Thompson Somewhere when you least expected, you find the person who you know you are going to share your life with. You met that wonderful person. And it is a blessing that you are going to walk down the aisle with that person. You want to share it with everyone, everyone. And this one important day of your life has to be perfect in every respect of the word. 2.3 million weddings are taking place each year, but that doesnt make your marriage just another figure in the statistics. If you have taken the decision to get married then perhaps you are moving to the next decision which is how to get married. While preparing for that question, the question of finances is understandably related. Wedding loans have the perfect answer, in case you cant afford the wedding you are thinking of. Today average wedding costs somewhere between 18,000 and 19,000. Only 40% of the people can actually pay for their wedding. This amount might not fix into every ones pocket. Wedding loans offer the precise answer for wedding fund blues. However, wedding loans options are expanding online making it easier to get finance for wedding. But they might even make it easier for you to fall prey to taking more than you need. Wedding finance is no longer the monopoly of the brides father. Most of the couples pay for their own wedding or the cost is split between the families of the bride and the groom. Budgeting is integral when you are taking loan for your wedding. How much you need and what is going to cost what should be very clear in your mind. When you are searching for wedding loans online this is a good source for wedding loans take your time. It is rather easy to find wedding loans online with great interest rates. Borrowers can use a loan calculator to know whether they can afford the wedding loan or not. You can ask different loan lenders for wedding loans quotes. This will help you in finding a wedding loans deal that has value for your money. Interest rate for your wedding loans is what decides how much it will cost you. Interest rate on wedding loans is dependent on many things; therefore you might not be offered the rate that is displayed as the APR. APR is the annual percentage rate it is the true cost of the loan. You will be using this to compare the wedding loans quote from different lenders. Every lender calculates APR differently therefore it becomes all the more important for you ask for wedding loans quotes from different lenders. Credit a credit check before you apply for wedding loans. Credit score have a huge impact on loan borrowing. You can have an easy access to your credit report and credit score at credit reporting agencies like Experian, Equifax and Trans union. They will give you concrete details on how to improve your credit score also. Interest rates for people with bad credit score are higher. But there are other factors, which wedding loans lender might be looking at. The presence of collateral will enable you to get wedding loans at lesser interest rates. Unsecured wedding loans that are without any collateral would invite a higher interest rate than secured loans. Take Wedding loans as an opportunity to discuss your views towards money and finances. Get each others views on how to manage your finances. Most of married couples fight on finances. Before you take wedding loans you are supposed to work out on your finances and lifestyle so that you can accommodate monthly payments into your budget. Figure out how and when you are going to repay your wedding debts. Wedding is of an emotional significance to those who are getting married. However, dont let emotions phase out you financial decision or you might end up being in debt. The amount on Wedding loans should be what you can afford. Sit down and try to cut on the wedding expenses wherever you can. Dont take wedding loans for costs that might be avoided. Sit down and take time to plan not only the wedding but the finance for the wedding. A rushed wedding loans decision might direct you towards a wrong deal. Financial troubles at the start of your married life are a big no-no. Marriage can be the hardest decision you made in your life. But it will turn out to be the most rewarding one if there is enough love and a good financial decision to back it. How to Host a Murder Mystery Weekend

December 18th, 2007 by geoffrajczi

By Mary Lee Ferrin While this article was written for Bed & Breakfast Inns, it can easily be used by the casual host who wishes to host a Murder Mystery Weekend with friends & family. One of the dilemma’s faced by many B & B Inn owners is how to fill the rooms of your establishment enough to show a profit. It is not always an easy task. Overhead is high & it seems like you are always faced with some new expense. I am sure all Inn owners have heard of Murder Mystery Weekends, but most do not know how to go about it. Just visit some of the Bed & Breakfast web sites that offer Murder Mystery Weekends and you will find them sold out well in advance of the event. This article was written to help you on your way to attracting visitors to your Inn by offering Murder Mystery Weekends. One of the advantages of hosting a Murder Mystery Weekend, besides having your Inn filled, is this venue allows your guests to interact and really get comfortable with each other. Your first step is to find a Murder Mystery Game that will be fun and enjoyable for your guests. You need one that is easy to host and participate in, yet will be able to play out over the weekend. In the past you either had to write your own or spend a small fortune hiring specialists to come in and put it on for you. This is no longer the case. Our site Dinner and a Murder Mystery Games - http://www.dinnerandamurder.com - has Murder Mystery Games available that play very well for weekend groups. We are also releasing new games every few months, which gives you the ability to do fresh murder mystery weekends, without having to wear out the same scenario. Many Inns that offer Murder Mystery Weekends make the mistake of only offering one mystery. By offering new murder mysteries you are taking advantage of repeat business. The scripts are very affordable at only $39 a game plus a $20 commercial license for each weekend event you host. You do not have to pay the $39 each time you host it, only the license fee. We also offer free phone support to answer any questions that you might have. The next step is to decide what to charge & what to include in that charge. I have found that most Inns are pretty consistent in both these areas. The average charge is $450 per couple, double occupancy for the weekend event.
This usually includes the following: Accommodations for Friday & Saturday evening.
Dinner Fri. & Sat. or Welcoming Cocktails Fri. & Dinner Sat.
Full Breakfast Sat. & Sun. Mornings
The Unique Murder Mystery Experience! One of the problems that can occur and potentially wreck a murder mystery weekend are last minute cancellations. There are a couple solutions that can help prevent this problem. The first is to require that the event be paid in full to hold the reservation. Then you can give refunds according to the lead time of a cancellation. These are just suggestions: 30 days before the event refund 75%
Up to 2 weeks before the event refund 50%
Cancellation in the last 2 weeks forfeits the deposit. Be sure to inform guests making reservations of the refund policy. Tell them that this is a necessary policy as cancellations can ruin the event for everyone if someone is not found to fill their spots. The closer to the event, the harder spots are to fill. Next is to keep a waiting list. After you have all of your rooms filled, offer interested parties the opportunity to get on your waiting list for possible last minute inclusion. You can offer a discount to make this proposition more inviting. Another idea is to run an ad in your local paper offering free murder mystery weekends to fill last minute cancellations or unfilled spots. When contacted explain that you are creating a list of local guests who could be contacted, possibly at the last minute, to attend a murder mystery weekend free of charge in the event of a cancellation. These steps should insure that every Murder Mystery Weekend is a success! Okay, now how do you go about organizing the murder mystery itself? The following ideas are adapted for a Dinner and a Murder Mystery Game. If you are using a different game you will need to make some adjustments depending on their format. Before guests arrive it is best to let them know the murder mystery theme or time period, so that they can bring appropriate costumes if they wish. To assign characters you could give each guest a copy of the Guest List when they arrive and let them choose the character they would like to play. First come first serve. Then you would give them their new characters background booklet. We also have an online RSVP e-Invite system that will let you assign characters and send character booklets to the people attending. This would give your guests even more prep time and allow them to more fully get into their character. Everyone meets for Dinner or Cocktails on Friday night. Before dinner you would give out the first part of their Character Booklet, Nametags, Game Money & any other items or props that their character required. You would then make the Hosts Announcement. They will then start getting to know each other. You should allow at least 30 minutes before serving dinner. The murder should occur just before or at the end of dinner, after which you give your guests their Character Confidential Booklets. For planning purposes it would be best to have someone you know who is outgoing to play the part of the murder victim. At breakfast Saturday morning you should have the Inspector/Detective do his or her Evidence Presentation, have the Weapons Scavenger Hunt and then your guests have all day to plot amongst themselves, investigate or do their own thing. After dinner Saturday night your guests will try to solve the mystery. At Breakfast Sunday morning you would award the Winner Certificates. Viola’ a weekend of murder and mayhem! As your guests would not have their props before hand, you would need to insure that they had any required items. For Example: To do Murder at the Four Deuces you would have to provide a costume tiara for the Baroness, a pair of white evening gloves for Rebecca Ravioli & a deck of cards for Rhett Bumbler. Murder at the Four Deuces would be an excellent script as there are so many intermingling subplots it would insure a full, enjoyable weekend for your guests. If you host one of our games for a Murder Mystery Weekend that is open to the public we would love to list your event on our website for interested parties to find. We have a Murder Mystery Event Calendar that you can post your event into. We attract over 1,000 visitors a day that are interested in Murder Mystery Games! Tummy Tuck Scars: What to Expect

December 15th, 2007 by geoffrajczi

By Robert H Tummy tuck scars are one of the major drawbacks of abdominoplasty cosmetic surgery. The scars caused by a tummy tuck operation are of great worry to many prospective patients. The extent of tummy tuck scars depends on the type of the surgery that is performed by the surgeon on the patient. Scarring that is present after a mini tummy tuck procedure is not as severe as the scars that are visible as they are for a patient who has received a full tummy tuck procedure. Although these scars can appear to be unsightly at first patients do get used to them and they do appear to be less of a shock after time once they start to heal and fade. Scarring caused by the tummy tuck procedure can be concealed quite easily wearing every day clothes in fact the majority of patients have the confidence to hide their scars by wearing a bathing suit. Over a Period of time these scars will fade quite distinctly a lot depends on each patients individual healing capabilities. Some patients will heal quicker than others although scars will remain for a good number of patients. Generally though it has to be said that the scars resulting from this type of surgery are more often than not permanent and this should be taken into consideration before you decide to go ahead with the procedure. During consultation with your surgeon you would be wise to ask him to show you examples of previous patients to give you an idea of the extent of the scarring that will occur following this surgery. The standard tummy tuck scar extends from one hipbone right across to the other hipbone which creates a rather large scar but this scar is located under the bikini line so it can be concealed easily. These scars are not normally as bad as the patient anticipated and in most cases the majority of women are able to hide the resulting scars. If you feel you can deal with the scarring issue then the benefits of a tummy tuck procedure will probably outweigh the scarring issue by some margin. It must be stressed though that you should actively seek photographic examples of tummy tuck scars so that you know exactly what to expect from this procedure. Don’t Talk About Sex on a First Date

December 14th, 2007 by geoffrajczi

By Don Diebel This week I want to focus on talking about sex on first dates. I can’t think of a better way to turn single women off, have her lose respect for you, and make her not want to see you again. I know you probably think about sex most of time and you may not see any harm in expressing your feelings about sex while on a date. Once you get to know a girl she may feel more comfortable talking about sex, but doing this on your very first date is taboo. Here are some examples of questions and comments pertaining to sex you must never ask or discuss on a first date: How are you in bed? How many sex partners have you had? How many one-night stands have you had? Do you believe in having sex on the first date? Are you horny tonight? Can I spend the night with you? Will you make love to me? Talk about what a strong sex drive you have. Talk about what a great lover you are.
Trust me guys, single women don’t like it when you get too sexually aggressive on a first date. Even worse is all during the date; all you can talk about is sex or things of a sexual nature. When you do this, she will get the impression that all you want to do is use women for sex and you treat women like a piece of meat. When you focus too much on sex, it shows that you don’t have much respect for her. You’ll make a much better impression on her by being a complete gentleman and keep your hormones in check (being romantic is just fine, just don’t get too sexual). In closing, I can almost guarantee you that if you come on too strong sexually on your first date; you really hurt your chances for a second date. Your best strategy is to take things slow and let nature take its course. It takes time to develop a relationship and when you both develop chemistry and attraction towards each other, intimacy follows. This article written by Don Diebel (Americas #1 Singles

Homemade Baby Food - It’s Easier Than You Think

December 13th, 2007 by geoffrajczi

By Mila Sidman So your baby is ready for solids! It’s always exciting when your baby reaches a new milestone, but when it comes to feeding babies it’s safe to say most parents are a little nervous. If you’re planning on making your own homemade baby food, here are a few simple tips. First of all, relax making baby food is simple. You don’t need many ingredients, special equipment (except a blender or food processor) or much time. Apart from saving you money, making your own baby food provides fantastic nutrition for your little one and gives you peace of mind. After all you know exactly what’s gone into your baby’s food, how it was prepared and the quality of ingredients used. Most pediatricians advice babies should be be between 4 and 6 months before starting solids. Rice cereal is usually the first food of choice as it doesn’t contain wheat (which can be harder for babies to digest) and most babies can easily tolerate it.
If you’re not sure if your baby is ready for solids always ask your pediatrician first. It’s always best to introduce one new food at a time just in case your baby has an allergic reaction to a certain food. This will make it easier to pinpoint which foods caused it. Here’s an easy step-by-step guide to making baby food. Hygiene: There’s no need to sterilize feeding equipment as you would baby bottles and teats, but you should wash everything you’ll be using in hot soapy water before starting. It’s also smart to wipe down the counter top and work area before starting. As with regular cooking, it’s important to use a separate chopping board for meat to avoid cross contamination. And do not let raw food come into contact with cooked food. Always thaw frozen baby food in the refrigerator. Thawing the food at room temperature may breed bacteria which can cause illness. Equipment: A food processor, blender or hand-held blender is ideal for a very smooth consistency. Once your baby is used to solids you can simply mash the food with a fork. Preferably your baby should sit in a high chair or other upright child safety seat. Baby should be upright at all times to help food digestion and avoid choking. To feed baby a few simple plastic bowls and spoons without rough edges will do. And don’t forget to get a few packs of baby bibs and have plenty of cleaning cloths handy! Preparation: Scrub and peel fruits and vegetables well. Remove all fat, skin, and bones from fresh meat. Always check to make sure the meat is fresh. If you have any doubts as to the freshness of the meat, it’s best not to use it as it’s just not worth your baby getting sick. Use only a small amount of water when cooking to avoid loosing valuable nutrients. Many vegetables can be steamed to preserve nutrients. Never add any seasonings, salt, sugar, or other sweeteners. This will make the food too strong for your baby’s taste buds and can actually make him ill. Transfer cooked food to a food processor and process until smooth (adding a little of the cooking water if necessary) or use a hand-held blender. For a thicker consistency, simply mash the food using a fork. You can always add a little breast milk or formula to make it smoother. * Medical literature advices egg whites, strawberries, honey and peanut products should be avoided until 12 months of age as they have been known to cause allergies in young children. Storage: As baby’s only eat a small amount of food, freezing is ideal for baby food. There are several ways you can do this. One of the easiest ways is to fill up an ice cube tray with any unused baby food (do not save any leftover food from your baby’s bowl or that has been contaminated by your baby’s saliva). Once the food is frozen immediately transfer to individual plastic bags. Depending on how much your baby eats, place a few cubes of baby food in each bag. Dont forget to label and date it. Advice varies on how long you should freeze baby food for. Most experts agree frozen baby food should not be kept longer than 3 months. Ideally, try not to keep the food longer than one month as it may loose some of its nutritional content as time passes. Remember your baby doesn’t eat very much at first so make smaller batches. You can also place small amounts of food in individual plastic containers with lids, and stick labelling tape to the top of the lid. Reheating: Easily reheat frozen food by placing it in a heat-proof bowl. Place the bowl in or over a pan of simmering water. Gently reheat while stirring occasionally. You can also reheat the food in the microwave. This will save you time, but be extra careful as the food will be hotter in some places more than others. Always stir the food and taste it before serving to make sure it’s not too hot. Always, let the food sit for a minute or two before serving to baby. Stir again just before serving. Always thaw frozen baby food in the refrigerator. Do not thaw baby food at room temperate as it can breed bacteria. That’s it… a few simple steps to making your own baby food. Homemade baby food will save you money but best of all you’ll be giving your baby the most nutritious foods possible. What Causes Aging?

December 11th, 2007 by geoffrajczi

By Nick Arrizza, M.D. Although we experience the aging process as a progressive physical deterioration of our bodies, the aging process, according to some preliminary case studies appears to be more easily understood at another level of our being. This is what is called the energy bio-field level. Many of us have heard of the term “aura”. Well this is in a small way a reperesentation of that energy bio-field. This bio-field has been shown (see Michael Talbot’s “The Holographic Universe̶ ;) to contain embedded in it one’s entire life history. In other words, what you experience as your personality, your consciousness and the memories of your life appear to be stored in this bio-field in energy form. I have over the last ten years been working with a new tool called the Mind Resonance Process(TM) that heals an individual of past emotional traumas which are stored in their consciousness and hence in their bio-field. I have made repeated anecdotal observations that reveal that when such trauma is released by MRP an individual begins not only to feel younger but actually starts to “look” younger. These observations have inspired me to try to document the changes by monitoring age related markers such as DHEA levels and testosterone levels in middle aged men in upcoming studies. It is known that both DHEA and testosterone levels decline in a rather predictable manner in mid life. I am planning to administer MRP to men in this age bracket to show whether MRP can be shown to reverse these trends. What does this all mean? Well, it suggests that aging is related to the accumulated “emotional” trauma that we experience and “carry” in our bio-field as toxic information. This toxic information then cascades down (see “The Divine Holographic Energy Field̶ ;) and disrupts the functioning and integrity of the physical body at all levels. The result is illness and aging. What I am now seeing with MRP is that this information can be released permanently and that this appears to “re-organize” the bio-field so that it can heal the body spontaneously. This appears then to manifest as a more youthful and healthy body. Aging then, at the bio-field level appears to be the result of an accumulation of toxic traumatic emotional memories stored there as disruptive information. What is interesting is that all of this can be cleared (see “Eliminating the Past” and “We Are Not Our Persoanlities̶ ;) with MRP. So the next question is, is aging really necessary? In an article entitled “Do You Love Your Body?” I make the point that it is the toxic environment created by this stored toxic information, at the bio-field level, that “convinces” or “forces” us to abandon, our physical bodies. If this environment were cleaned up however would there be as much motivation for one to choose to jettison their body? I doubt it. I elaborate on this in a longer article entitled ” A Tuned Bio-Field: A New Definition of Consciousness” (Parts 1 &2). Payday Loans to Help the Budget

December 9th, 2007 by geoffrajczi

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Peter_Garant]Peter Garant Majority of the people in the world have debts. Some of them have large debts. Even business tycoons have debts, the amounts of which are staggering to the average person. Yet, these business tycoons are not criticized when they apply for more loans. This is because we assume them to have a team of experts who will do the budgeting for them. A person who is about to undertake budgeting must essentially know two important data: The amount of money that comes in every month when all the taxes are deducted. And the total amount of money spent every month based on receipts or payment stubs. But the person need not determine the exact amounts down to the last centavo. What he needs is a good estimate. Once the person obtains the two vital information described above, he will realize whether he was spending more than he earns or he was spending within his financial capacity. The latter implies that he probably has no serious financial troubles. But the former means that he needs to cut back on expenses. And here, the nitty gritty part of budgeting begins. The person has to decide on how much he needs to spend and on what important things he will spend his money. The importance of something will vary from one person to another. Any person who is weighing the importance of an object needs only to be honest with himself and not base his decisions on the opinion of others. Of course, there is no harm in asking for advice. Budgeting, however, is a journey over rocky roads. Sometimes a person can follow his plans or meet his dues by the skin of his teeth. But sometimes, he encounters emergencies or problems that will completely destroy his budget. For example, his house needs unexpected repairs. Obviously, a big slice of his budget will go to the cost of repairs. This will leave him with no choice but to live on bread alone for the rest of the week. If he chooses not to have his house fixed, he may be facing freezing temperatures or a scarcity of water. Caught in such a dire situation, he may give up budgeting altogether and take up a come what may attitude. A payday loan can help his budget. The loaned amount will cover the cost of repairing the house. In the meantime, he is given time to reduce his next expenses. He is also given the chance to make a new budget based on his next payday. Mr. Peter Garant is a long time contributer of financial articles, Most of his work is [http://www.faxless-paydayloan.org]faxless payday loan and [http://creditrepairkits.blogspot.com/]credit repair Articles. Healing Headaches Without Using Aspirins

December 8th, 2007 by geoffrajczi

By Joshua Poyoh Healing headaches with the power of your mind is not only possible, it is also natural. While you can take an aspirin or other pain killers to help ease a headache, doctors have warned there are many side effects. Besides these, there are other methods and internal process you can take to help ease the pain. You can use these approaches and methods along side with any medication you may be taking from a doctor. First off, start thinking in terms of transforming the headache, instead of getting rid of it. Getting rid of it just adds more mental noise and judgment. Divert your concentration from the headache to transmuting it. Lets explore what is a headache. Do not explore your idea of it, instead explore it. Feel it. It is there right? Feel it. Get a sense of the sensation. Go into it. It has been said many times that what you resist persists, and what you embrace you can erase. Approach your headache in this way. Give in to it. Giving into it is surrendering to the fact that you have a headache. It does not mean you are being self-destructive. This does not mean you truly want to feel pain. It just means that you want to accept the pain that you are feeling now. Acceptance opens the door for a more spacious feeling in your brain. Acceptance of a headache fuels a sensation of openness, and that is what brings about the healing. Openness is peace of mind. Openness is a calmness that surrounds the headache. Feel a sense of openness amidst the headache. This is how you heal headaches. Healing headaches is not difficult, because openness is your natural resting state of awareness. Openness is like the ocean; your headache is like a floating piece of seaweed. Rest in the ocean and the headache will become far less intense. So, the trick to healing headaches is to let the seaweed (headache) float in a sea of awareness. Be the observer of your headache, instead of being trapped in it. Being trapped in a headache is the pain. Stepping outside of the headache is freedom from it. The best time to practice this is when you do not have a headache. Pretend that you do have one, from time to time. This may sound strange but it works. Feel your head. Feel as if you have a headache and then try to get a sense of being larger than the headache. Then, next time you have a real headache, you will have gained some skills. Healing headaches happens when you become bigger than the pain. NO bigger in the sense of being able to withstand the pain; just bigger in the sense of feeling bigger, feeling more expansive. At a certain point you may find taking an aspirin is not necessary anymore.
